Main Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup finely chopped celery
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form Patties: Form the mixture into 6 evenly sized patties.
  3. Cook Patties: Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
