Ribs:

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 4 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Dry Rub:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Additional:

  • 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (plus extra for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ribs: Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
