For the Cake:

- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10–12 cup Bundt pan thoroughly.
- Make the cheesecake filling: In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
- Make the cake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and almond extract. Add sour cream and mix until smooth. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the floured strawberries gently.
- Assemble the cake: Spoon half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Carefully spoon the cheesecake filling evenly over the batter, avoiding the edges. Top with the remaining cake batter and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake (not the cheesecake layer) comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
