- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season and sear the chicken: Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Season chicken thighs. Sear in a skillet until golden.
- Prepare the rice: In the same skillet, cook onion and garlic. Add rice, broth, cream, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Nestle chicken into the mixture.
- Bake: Cover and bake for 35-40 minutes until rice is tender and chicken reaches 165°F.
- Rest and serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
