Cake Base:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg

Gooey Filling:

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups, halved
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. Mix Cake Base: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a dough forms. Press two-thirds into the pan.
  3. Prepare Gooey Filling: In another bowl, mix condensed milk, 1 egg, and vanilla. Add chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and peanut butter cups. Pour over base.
  4. Bake and Cool: Drop remaining cake dough over the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes until set. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
