Cookie Dough:

- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Filling and Topping:
- 1 cup Nutella
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-inch oven-safe skillet.
- Prepare the Dough: Cream softened butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients to form the dough.
- Assemble the Cookie: Press half of the dough into the skillet. Spread warmed Nutella over the dough. Top with remaining dough, seal edges, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake: Bake for 28–32 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and additional cinnamon sugar.
- Serve: Cool slightly before slicing into wedges and serving.
Notes
- For a gooier center, slightly underbake and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Cream of tartar adds a churro-like tang but can be omitted if needed.
