- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped German chocolate and milk. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.
- Prepare Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add the melted chocolate mixture and beat again until fully combined. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
- Finish Filling: Stir in coconut, chopped pecans, caramel sauce, and a pinch of salt. Spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
