Description

Tender beef sirloin tips cooked in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce using the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. This Asian-inspired dish is perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Tips:

  • 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Sauce:

  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sear Beef: Turn the Ninja Foodi to Sauté mode and heat the olive oil. Add the beef tips and sear until browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes. Press Cancel.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the beef.
  3. Pressure Cook: Close the lid, set the valve to Seal, and pressure cook on High for 15 minutes. Once the cook time ends, allow a natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  4. Thicken Sauce: Switch back to Sauté mode. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve: Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute flank or stew meat if sirloin isn’t available, but increase cook time by 5 minutes for tougher cuts.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
