Ingredients
Scale
Beef Mixture
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
Wrap and Toppings
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Season the beef: Add the taco seasoning packet and 1/4 cup water to the cooked beef. Stir well to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the beef evenly.
- Warm tortillas: Heat the flour tortillas either in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or in a dry skillet until they are warm and pliable.
- Assemble wraps: Spread 1/4 cup of nacho cheese sauce evenly on each warm tortilla. Then layer the seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the cheese sauce.
- Wrap it up: Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly to enclose the filling securely.
- Serve: Serve the wraps warm, with sour cream on the side if desired for added creaminess and flavor.
Notes
- For a spicier wrap, add extra jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.
- Substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Use gluten-free tortillas to make this recipe gluten-free.
- Warm tortillas properly to avoid cracks and ensure easy rolling.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container and reheated in a skillet or microwave.
