Sauce:

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped)

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Season and sear salmon: Pat the salmon dry, season with salt and pepper. Sear in an oven-safe skillet.
  3. Prepare the sauce: Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes, add cream, broth, tomatoes, Parmesan, and seasoning. Simmer.
  4. Bake: Return salmon to skillet, spoon sauce over and bake for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Finish and serve: Garnish with basil and serve with lemon wedges.
