Crust:

  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping

Lemon Layer:

  • 2 packages (3 ounces each) lemon gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 can (21 ounces) lemon pie filling or lemon curd

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Make the cream cheese layer: Beat cream cheese and sugar, then fold in whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust.
  4. Prepare the lemon layer: Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Refrigerate until slightly thickened.
  5. Assemble the dessert: Spread lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer. Pour the gelatin over the lemon layer.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes
