Crescent Rolls:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Cheesecake Filling:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp coarse sugar or sanding sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare filling: In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Assemble: Unroll crescent dough, separate into triangles. Place a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up and place on baking sheet.
