  • 2/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy removal.
  2. Prepare the crust: Cream together butter and granulated sugar, then add flour and salt to form a dough. Press into the pan and bake until golden.
  3. Make the lemon filling: Whisk together sugar and flour, then add eggs, lemon juice, and zest. Pour over the baked crust and bake until set.
  4. Cool and refrigerate: Cool the bars, refrigerate for at least 2 hours, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
