  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam (or fruit topping of choice)

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the rolls: Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls horizontally into top and bottom layers without separating them. Place the bottom layer in the dish.
  3. Prepare the filling: Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth. Spread over the bottom layer.
  4. Add jam: Dollop jam over the cream cheese and swirl gently. Place the top layer of rolls back on.
