Cheese:
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Sauté the Mushrooms: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet. Sauté mushrooms until browned and moisture is released.
- Season and Cook: Add garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Assemble: Butter bread slices. Layer cheese, mushroom mixture, and more cheese between slices.
- Grill: Cook sandwich in a skillet until golden and cheese is melted. Slice and serve.
