Description

Tender sirloin steak bites with golden baby potatoes, cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce. This quick and easy skillet meal is perfect for a delicious weeknight dinner.

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Potatoes:

  • 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Potatoes: Heat 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add halved baby potatoes, cut-side down. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 12–15 minutes until golden and tender. Remove from skillet.
  2. Cook Steak: Add remaining olive oil to the skillet. Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in batches if needed.
  3. Finish Dish: Reduce heat, return potatoes to skillet. Add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Stir until butter melts and garlic is fragrant. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Use a cast-iron skillet for best results.
  • Substitute Yukon Gold or red potatoes if needed.
  • Adjust garlic to personal preference.
