For the Steak Bites:
- 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Potatoes:
- 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Potatoes: Heat 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add halved baby potatoes, cut-side down. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 12–15 minutes until golden and tender. Remove from skillet.
- Cook Steak: Add remaining olive oil to the skillet. Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in batches if needed.
- Finish Dish: Reduce heat, return potatoes to skillet. Add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Stir until butter melts and garlic is fragrant. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Use a cast-iron skillet for best results.
- Substitute Yukon Gold or red potatoes if needed.
- Adjust garlic to personal preference.
