Main Ingredients:
- 4 medium green tomatoes sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs

Breading Mixture:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Soak the Tomatoes: Place tomato slices in a dish, pour buttermilk over them, and let soak for 10–15 minutes.
- Prepare the Coating: Mix flour, cornmeal, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Beat the Eggs: In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Heat Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.
- Coat and Fry: Dredge tomato slices in flour, dip in egg, coat in flour again, and fry until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain and Serve: Transfer fried tomatoes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
