Pasta:
- 12 ounces linguine or fettuccine pasta
Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Jamaican jerk seasoning
- juice of 1 lime
- salt and black pepper to taste
- fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sear shrimp: Season shrimp with jerk seasoning, cook in a skillet, then set aside.
- Make sauce: Cook garlic, bell peppers, and onion in the skillet. Add jerk seasoning, cream, broth, and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine: Add pasta and shrimp back to skillet, toss to coat. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water. Squeeze lime juice, garnish, and serve.
