  • 3 pounds russet or Yukon Gold potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions
