  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Garnish (optional):

  • Chopped green onions or parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic, cook for 1 minute, then drain.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Stir in mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, 1 cup of cheese, and corn. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble Casserole: Spread beef mixture in the baking dish. Top with tater tots in an even layer.
  5. Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are golden. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 5–7 more minutes until melted.
