- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish (optional):
- Chopped green onions or parsley
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic, cook for 1 minute, then drain.
- Mix Ingredients: Stir in mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, 1 cup of cheese, and corn. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble Casserole: Spread beef mixture in the baking dish. Top with tater tots in an even layer.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are golden. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 5–7 more minutes until melted.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.
