Beans Mixture:

  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) pork and beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp, then set aside.
  3. Cook Beef Mixture: In the same skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine beef mixture, bacon, beans, ketchup, barbecue sauce, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, spices.
  5. Bake: Transfer to baking dish, bake uncovered for 1 hour, stirring halfway.
