Tofu:
- 1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu
Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from a can of chipotle peppers)
- 1 chipotle pepper (minced)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish:
- Chopped cilantro and lime wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Press and Prepare Tofu: Press tofu, then cut into slices or cubes.
- Make Marinade: Whisk together olive oil, adobo sauce, chipotle pepper, lime juice, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate Tofu: Coat tofu in marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Grill Tofu: Grill tofu for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy.
- Serve: Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
