Description

These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are a tasty twist on the classic chicken parmesan dish, perfect for parties or game day. Baked to perfection with breaded chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey cheese on slider buns, they are sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale

Slider Buns:

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls

Cooked Breaded Chicken:

  • 2 cups cooked breaded chicken (cut into bite-sized pieces or use chicken tenders)

Marinara Sauce:

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Cheese:

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls, and place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Layer the chopped breaded chicken evenly over the buns.
  3. Add Toppings: Spoon marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
  4. Season and Bake: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush the tops of the buns generously. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped basil or parsley and serve warm.

Notes
