For the cheesecake layer:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
  2. Mix brownie layer: Combine melted butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Pour into pan.
  3. Prepare cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over brownie batter and swirl together.
