For the Deviled Eggs:
- 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Cajun Shrimp:
- 1/2 cup small cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Chopped fresh parsley or green onion for garnish
- Extra Cajun seasoning or paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Cut, Mash, and Mix: Cut hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise, remove yolks, mash yolks in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
- Prepare Shrimp: Chop cooked shrimp into small pieces, keeping some whole for garnish. Fold shrimp into yolk mixture.
- Fill Eggs: Spoon or pipe filling into egg white halves. Top with whole shrimp or Cajun seasoning/paprika. Garnish with parsley or green onion.
- Chill and Serve: Chill deviled eggs until ready to serve.
