Spaghetti:
- 12 oz spaghetti
Meat Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Cheese Toppings:
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti: Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare meat sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese spaghetti: In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with cream cheese and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the dish: Spread half of the meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer with cream cheese spaghetti, remaining sauce, and top with cheeses.
