Ingredients
- 1 pound egg noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of tomato soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the casserole later.
- Cook Noodles: Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside to cool slightly.
- Brown Meat and Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef along with diced onion and minced garlic until beef is browned and onions are softened; drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Combine Soups and Seasoning: Stir in cream of mushroom soup, cream of tomato soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and well combined.
- Mix in Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and gently stir to coat the noodles evenly with the sauce mixture.
- Prepare for Baking: Transfer the noodle and beef mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving for an added fresh flavor and color.
