Ingredients
Scale
Potatoes:
- 3 large russet potatoes (cut into thin fries)
Seasonings:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced and lightly sautéed)
- Extra Parmesan for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Soak and Dry: Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Season: In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until fries are golden brown and crispy.
- Finish: Transfer the hot fries to a bowl, then immediately toss with Parmesan cheese, parsley, and sautéed garlic. Serve warm with extra Parmesan sprinkled on top if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- You can also use frozen fries and shorten the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara sauce makes a great dip for these fries.
